Met Marlene for the first time in May 2024, when we became neighbors. While porch sitting and me listening to Marlene doing most of the talking, she concluded we were indeed 3rd cousins. I couldn't help but fall in love with Marlene's infectious smile, laugh, stories, love of animals, people and family and zest for life. Marlene truly has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known. If the electricity goes out, I'll be alright thanks to Marlene ensuring that I have plenty of lanterns, batteries, head lamps and a weather radio. I'll always treasure the solar cat chimes hanging on my porch and the metal chairs she and Annette gave me. One day I'll have to repaint them Marlene's favorite color, yellow . I sure do love and miss you Cuz. I am so heartbroken...
