Marlene Randall, age 86, of Bethel went home to be with Jesus October 13, 2024. Funeral service 11:00 AM Friday, October 18th at North Isanti Baptist Church. Visitation 5- 7 PM Thursday, October 17th at Strike Life Tributes in CAMBRIDGE, and also one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Interment North Isanti Baptist Cemetery.
Marlene Kay Randall was born December 12, 1937 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota to Walter and Katherine (Maine) Johnson. She graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1955 and then took secretarial coursework at Anoka Technical Collage. She worked in banking and then for the State of Minnesota in Water Management until her retirement. Marlene also did clerical work for the City of Bethel. She was involved in her community as an election judge, active member of Elim Baptist Church serving in the choir, leading the prayer ministry, helping with New Pathways, and many more activities. She later became a member of North Isanti Baptist Church where also loved worshiping her Lord and Savior. Marlene also enjoyed quilting and being with her family.
She is survived by seven sons, Phil, Lance, Brad (Kim), Tim (Becky), Clay, Jesse (Charlene) and Ethan (Karen); grandchildren, Ashley, Tyas, Bailey, and Duston (Sonja); great-grandchildren, Tatum, Wiatt, Trent and Evelina; sister-in-law, Opal Johnson; life-long friend, Shirley Garner; and many other relatives and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and Warren; sister-in-law, Joann; and former husband, Scott.
