Marlene Tarlowe, 80, of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2026. Born on September 27, 1945 and raised in Hillside NJ. She was the cherished daughter of Moe and Rose Stark.

Marlene was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Her love was constant, steady, and unconditional.

To her children, she was not only a mother, but a hero, a confidant, and their greatest supporter.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures. Marlene loved shopping, traveling, and spending hours exploring flea markets in search of hidden treasures. She was a wonderful cook and took great pride in hosting holiday dinners. Her kitchen was her happy place, and feeding those she loved was one of the many ways she showed her care.

Family was everything to her. She celebrated every milestone, offered comfort during difficult times, and always put others before herself. Her warmth, strength, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted son, Ross, and her loving daughter Jodi and her husband Karl, along with family and friends who were blessed to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Moe, husband Milton, in-laws Meyer and Dorothy and brother Ira.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories she created and the traditions she built. Her spirit will live on in every holiday meal, every family gathering, and in the love she instilled in her children.

Funeral service will be held Thursday February 26, 10am at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, W-150 Route 4, Paramus ,NJ.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 4pm-8pm at the home of Marlene 16-02 Eberlin Drive, Fair Lawn , NJ.
