Marlene Arla Turson

Marlene Arla Turson, age 93, of Plymouth, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Embassy of Willard. She was born on November 30, 1932, in Willard, Ohio to the late Albert and Maude (Book) Berberick. Marlene was a member of the Plymouth United Methodist Church and was a florist at Walter's Flower Shop in Plymouth for 25 years. She was an avid supporter of local sports and enjoyed making treats for the PHS basketball team. She also enjoyed tending to her flower gardens at home and frequent trips to the lake with her family. Marlene loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She was a friendly face to all and never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Turson whom she married on July 3, 1954; sister, Virginia (Jay) Lydy; brother, Larry Berberick; and special aunt, Virginia Wilcox.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM where her funeral service will be on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rodger Boucher officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio.
