Marlene Williams Obituary

Marlene M. Williams, of Eighty Four, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025. Marlene was born in Mt. Joy, Lancaster County, to the late Martin and Naomi Brown Metzler. She was a graduate of Donegal High School. Marlene had a distinguished career working for Armstrong Cooperation for 15 years, and Peters Township for 21 years. Marlene had been attending Trinity United Methodist Church in McMurray. She enjoyed her crossword puzzles, solitaire, and reading. Marlene's favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She adored her family more than anything and was always there with love and guidance. She was loved by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Marlene was predeceased by her loving husband, James R. Williams; and her sister, Kay E. Suter. She is survived by her loving daughter, Julie (Dennis) Martik; brother, James A. Metzler; her cherished granddaughter, Macey (Tatum) Marks; her adored great-grandson, TJ Marks; nieces and nephews, Sherry (the late Tom) Whitman, Jeffrey (Dawn Waterhouse) Suter, and Chrisopher Metzler; and many other loving family members. Arrangements by Beinhauer Funeral Home. Services will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions, in her name, to U.S. Veterans at https://www.va.gov

Dear Julie. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom has always had such a big place in your life and heart. And I know that you and Dennis helped her so much in her later years.
