Annette Case Williams

Annette Case Williams, 87, of Hendersonville, NC died Saturday, February 7, 2026. A life-long resident of Henderson County, Annette was born on March 12, 1938, to the late Joe Henry Case and the late Annie Thompson Case.

Annette enjoyed riding with Floyd on his motorcycle and listening to live music with their friends. She was an excellent seamstress and a great mother to her girls. She loved her sons-in-law as if they were her own sons and adored her two grandchildren.

After Floyd's death, Annette moved to Lexington, SC, to be closer to her daughter but always missed her mountain home. You've gone home now Momma, but we will see you again. Until then, we will love and miss you always.

Along with her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Floyd Vernon Williams, and by five brothers, Wade, Ray, Eulas, Glenn, and Wayne Case, and two sisters, Lucille Case Fisher and DeLois Case Fender.

She is survived by two sisters, Frances Meshoe of Greenville, SC, and Margie Duncan (Gene) of Hendersonville, NC., and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She is also survived by her daughters Betty Anne Diehl (Bryant) of Columbia, SC, and Carolyn Jo Hunter (Richard) of Georgetown, TX, and her two grandchildren Daniel and Sarah Hunter of Georgetown, TX.

The family will receive friends for a time to visit and remember Annette at the Chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 538 Tracy Grove Road, Hendersonville, NC at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026. A graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

While she will be dearly missed by her family they are grateful to God for the blessing she was and the years he allowed her to be with them and have the Assurance they will be with her again one day.
