Marlene R. Wirth, age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Warren Barr of Orland Park.
Marlene is survived by her husband, Ronald K. Wirth; her children, Richard (Laura) Wirth, Kenneth Eugene (Janice) Wirth, and David Ray Wirth; her grandchildren, Matthew (Heidi) Wirth, Jeremy (Sara) Wirth, Lindsay (Dan) Adamitus, and Kenneth (Bree) Wirth; her great grandchildren, Nixon, Camille, Jack, Molly, Cameron, Hannah, Lucas, Ashton, and Lianah; and her sister Peggy (Doug) Forgy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Thelda Kemper; and her siblings, Virginia, Mary, Donald, Harold, Joan, Shirley, and Louwanna.
Marlene spent many years serving in the Red Cross. She enjoyed many activities such as gardening, painting, crafting, and crocheting. She also loved to go antiquing and bowling in her younger years at Oak Forest Lanes.
Services for Marlene will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 with a visitation from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 12pm. Marlene will be laid to rest privately.
