Marleni Suleida Lopez Gonzalez has peacefully passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 46.

Marleni was born on February 26, 1979, in Sanarate Departamento Progreso, Guatemala, to Jose Luis Lopez, Sr. and Gloria Marina Lopez. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration, working 20+ years for Bank of America as a risk manager, and 26+ years in the banking and finance industry. Marleni married Joe Arturo Gonzalez, Jr. on June 21, 2021, in Keller, Texas, and they attended Church 360. She loved to travel both in the states and internationally, dancing, reading, yoga, cooking, listening to music, and going to live performances.

Marleni is preceded in death by her father, Jose Luis Lopez, Sr.; her grandparents, Isabel Morales, Josefina Morales, and Romulo Lopez; her aunts, Elvira Morales and Maria Claret Lopez; her godfather, Arnoldo Bran.

Those left to cherish Marleni's memory are her husband of over 4 years, Joe A. Gonzalez, Jr.; her stepdaughter, Afton Marie Gonzalez; her mother, Gloria Marina Lopez; her godmother, Olga Bran; her sister, Brenda Sharlen Lopez, and her sister-in-law, Perla Martinez; her brothers, Jose Luis Lopez, Jr., Eric Govany Lopez, and her brothers-in-law, Fernando Gonzalez, Marcos Daniel Gonzalez, Wyatt Farmer, and Rolando Martinez; her aunts and uncles, Norma Moreno, Silvia Morales, Lillian Lopez, Felix Morales, and Benjamin Lopez; her cousins, George Bran, Amy Bran, Cindy Bran, Daisy Moreno, Jessica Santillan, Ubaldo Moreno, Jr., Kimberly Moreno, Anthony Morales, Selena Segura, Gabriela Segura, Felix Morales, Jr., Marilyn Morales, Byron Morales, and Jefrin Garrido; her niece, Isabelle Star Lopez; her godsons, Gabriel Mark Martinez and Luke Matthew Martinez.
