Marlin Daniels, 81, of El Dorado, AR passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Marlin was born on February 15, 1944, in Magnolia, AR to the late Tully and Anna Mae (O'Dell) Daniels. By trade he was a pipefitter welder, which he loved, working for several companies throughout his career with Litwin of Houston, TX, Pumps and Power Company and Mid-States Pipe Fabricating Inc. in El Dorado, AR.

Marlin was a member of the Knowles Baptist Church in Strong, AR. He enjoyed hunting deer, turkey, and especially elk in Colorado. He also loved music and enjoyed listening to his generation's favorite bands' songs by the Rolling Stones and The Beatles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and mother and father-in-law, Alphonse and Loretta Guidry. Marlin is survived by his wife of 43 years, Connie Daniels of El Dorado; son, Matthew G. Daniels; daughter, Megan Lindsey Ryan and husband Jayme of Davenport, FL; grandchildren, Patrick Ryan and Piper Ryan of Davenport, and Myles Daniels of El Dorado; sister, Cheryl Hart of Bryant; Marlins faithful companion, Chamberlain; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR with a memorial service following at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Dustin Rhodes officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to UCAPS, 727 E Main St., El Dorado, AR 71730 or Disabled American Veterans.
