In Loving Memory of Marline Anthony
Marline Anthony, 84, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away on February 2, 2025. Born in Gurdon, Arkansas to John and Effie (Warren) Ellis, Marline cherished her roots and the values instilled in her from a young age.
Marline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Anthony, four brothers, two sisters, her daughter Regina Anne Delmonte, and her sons Larry Gray, Bobby Gray, and Dewayne Gray. She is lovingly remembered by her son Ricky Gray of Gurdon; her daughters Regena Sue Paulson of Tyler, Texas, and Debra (Stan) Ingle of Le Flore, Oklahoma; her grandchildren Jonathon Hill, Brandy (Terry) Tallent, Thomas (Brooke) Jones, and Bobby Jr. (Ashley) Jones; her great-grandchildren Daniel (Allie), Aspen (Liam), Justin, Conner, Jerry, Ireland, Riku, Madison, and Aria; and her three great-great-grandchildren, Hunter, Axl, and Stevie.
Marline’s life was marked by her deep love for Jesus, her family, and the simple joys of life. She found great pleasure in playing cards and bingo, often spending countless hours engaging in friendly games with her children and grandchildren. Above all, Marline dedicated her life to ensuring that her family always felt her unwavering love—a sentiment she spoke of even in her final hours.
Visitation will be held from 6–8 PM on Tuesday, February 4 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Beebe. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5 at 1 PM at Floyd Assembly of God in Searcy, followed by burial at Crestlawn Cemetery in Conway, Arkansas.
Marline Anthony’s legacy is one of faith, love, and family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she held dear.
