MARSH ANGLAUS SAMUEL, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away on September 4, 2025, in Brazil, at the age of 69. Born on February 11, 1956, in Beaumont, Texas, Marsh was a man whose spirit and love for life were contagious, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
Marsh carved out a successful career in the oil and gas refining industry at Huntsman Refinery, where his work ethic was evident. He was a dedicated professional, yet his commitment to family always took precedence. He received a trade from Huntsman Refinery, and became a supervisor, a testament to his intelligence and drive. Above all, Marsh was proudest of the family he built, especially his daughter, whom he raised with unwavering love and guidance, and traveled around the world with. His proudest accomplishments included watching her flourish into the person he always hoped she would become and being a doting grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his grandkids.
Marsh was known for his infectious smile and his ever-optimistic outlook on life. His “thumbs up” gesture became iconic among friends and family, symbolizing his encouragement and support. A true people’s person, he never met a stranger, making connections wherever he traveled. Marsh had a remarkable ability to give of himself selflessly, embodying the spirit of generosity and kindness that so many admired.
His passions extended well beyond his professional career. Marsh loved to travel, exploring new places and creating lasting memories with his family, particularly his grandchildren. He was an avid sports enthusiast, cheering passionately for college football and the NFL. His love for sports was paralleled only by his deep-rooted commitment to his faith, frequently attending church and instilling those values in his loved ones.
The legacy Marsh leaves behind is one of love, joy, and togetherness. He will be fondly remembered not only for the accomplishments he achieved in life but also for the warmth and positivity he brought to those around him. Marsh’s funeral service will be held on October 17, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, beginning at 3:00 PM.
As we say goodbye to Marsh Anglaus Samuel, let us celebrate a life that was lived to the fullest, marked by love, adventure, and a commitment to family. He may have left this world, but his spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
