Marsha Carol Gresham

Marsha Carol Gresham, a beloved member of the McRae community, passed suddenly on June 4, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on April 21, 1955, in McRae, she was the proud daughter of Edgar William Gresham and Cora Ellen Foster Gresham, both of whom predeceased her.

Carol was a graduate of Telfair County High School and became known for her welcoming spirit and generous heart. She had an enduring love for everyone she encountered and shared an especially tender affection for animals, making her a cherished friend to many. A long-time member of Helena Baptist Church, Carol's faith was a guiding light in her life, influencing her kind and compassionate nature.

She leaves behind her brothers, William Gresham (Brenda) of Atlanta, and Joe Gresham (Annie Ruth) of Helena. In addition to her brothers, Carol is survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends who will hold her memory dear.

Visitation for Carol will be held at 1:00P.M., Sunday, June 8, at Vaughn Funeral Home, followed at 2:00 by the funeral service in the chapel.  Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Carol Gresham will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her love for her family and friends, and the happiness she spread throughout her life. Her legacy of warmth and love will resonate for generations to come.
