Marsha E. Senkowski, age 78, passed away December 17, 2023.
Marsha was the beloved wife of the late Thaddeus "Ted" Senkowski; loving mother of the late Richie Zellinger, the late Michelle Zellinger, Linda Kriss, Elaine (David) Gorak, and Helene (Joseph) Wanczyk; devoted grandmother of Jenese (Patrick) Dorris, Jennifer (Adam) Jansen, the late Jessica Engle, and Raychelle Zellinger; proud great-grandmother of Rylee Montgomery, Casey Jansen, Nathan Warren, Patrick Charles Dorris III, Harley Raelynn Quigley, and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive; dear sister of Richard Banacek and the late Carole (the late Jeff) Hicks; and aunt of the late Stevie Hicks, Michael Hicks, David Hicks, and Lisa Banacek-O'Connor.
Marsha was a very devout Catholic and attended regularly at St. Justin's Catholic Church in Hazel Park. She loved being active in the Tops Ladies Group she was a part of. She loved going out for food but she liked critiquing that food even more. Over the years, she worked at a Detroit factory manufacturing golf balls, Super Signs, Mars Bar, 7 Hub, and American Greetings, but her true devotion was in keeping her home, and those in it, well in her care.
Visitation Thursday, December 21, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Rosary Service at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Instate Friday, December 22, from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Justin's Catholic Church, 1631 E. Elza Ave., Hazel Park, Michigan. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
