Marsha Taylor Obituary

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Odell Taylor and her precious Grandma, Minnie VanWinkle.
She is survived by her son Stephen Taylor and her daughter Kenyatta (Sean) Long, a brother Tim (Terry) Miles, sister Cheryl Isaacs and three nephews and niece, Tim Miles, Matt Miles, Kory Isaacs and Melissa Fields. Lastly, she is survived by the apple of her eyes, her grandbaby Mallorie Long.
Marsha graduated from Eastern Kentucky with her bachelor's degree, she later attended Ohio Northern University where she obtained her law degree, doctorate and her PhD. She was a member of the Supreme Court. Marsha also attended Three Links Christian Church since her early teens.
Funeral services for Marsha will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, with Bro. Jack Martin and Bro. Grant Martin officiating. Marsha will be laid to rest next to her mother in the VanWinkle Cemetery. Pallbearers include Stephen Taylor, Sean Long, Tim Miles and Timmy Miles.
A visitation will begin at 11 A.M. on Wednesday at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee.
Marsha, having never been a fan of flowers, ask that in lieu of flowers please make donations to Appalachian Research and Defense Fund of Alliance Defending Freedom. Two organizations dedicated to providing legal assistance to the less fortunate and ensuring our rights to live a life according to the teachings of God.

I knew Marsha from Law School. I admire her for doing what she was while having a disability. I've reached out to ask her a question about KY law. I'd refer clients to her. I will miss those conversations. Rest in Peace Marsha. We will take it from here.

I'm so very saddened to hear about Marsha's passing. We were colleagues, friends and fellow Chihuahua lovers. I pray she has found peace. Condolences to her family. I will miss her!
