Marshall Gregory Anderson ,of Harmony, North Carolina was born on February 27, 1948, in Guilford County, North Carolina. He passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, in Statesville, North Carolina, at the age of 77 surrounded by his family..
Marshall dedicated his life to hard work and family. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, a testament to his commitment and bravery. Following his service, he embarked on a long and fulfilling career, retiring as a Truck Shop Manager from Tyson Foods after 30 years of dedicated service. His colleagues remember him as a steadfast leader and a man of integrity.
An avid motorcycle rider, Marshall found joy and freedom on the open road. His passion for riding was well-known among his friends and family, who often recall his stories of adventure and camaraderie.
Marshall was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Marshall Garnie Anderson and Willa Mae Gregory Anderson, his brother Charles Anderson, and his sister Gloria Anderson. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his surviving family: his daughter Amanda Daisy Link and her husband Chris; his son Gregory Daniel Anderson and his wife Audrey; and his grandchildren Caleb Gallimore, Sam Perkins, Jaxson Link,Chris Anderson and nephew Charlie Anderson.
The family will hold a memorial service to honor Marshall's life and service at 1PM on Sunday, October 19. The service will be held at Gunter's In The Grove located at 1684 West Memorial Highway, Harmony,NC 28634 . His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. The family will receive flowers at the Link household, or donations can be made in Marshall's honor to St Jude Children's Research Hospital by clicking here.
