Marshall Lee Love Jr., born June 25th, 1954, in Hawkins, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Marshall lived his life in Hawkins, where he worked as a dedicated carpenter and was known for his skilled craftsmanship. He was a devoted member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Hawkins, where his faith and commitment to his community made a lasting impact. Marshall's passions included hunting, fishing, and spending time in his workshop, where he enjoyed building and creating. His love for nature and the outdoors was matched only by his love for his family.

He shared 51 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Joyce Love, and together they raised two children, Marshall Lee Love III and Bridget Dawn Love Holt. He cherished his grandchildren, Jaxon, Kylee, Eliana, Lane, and Zeke, who brought him immense joy. Marshall is survived by his son, Marshall Lee Love III and his wife Jammie of Hawkins, his daughter, Bridget Dawn Love Holt and her husband Joshua of Athens, his brother, Troy Don Love and his wife Sharon of Hawkins, his sisters, Ann Skinner and her husband Marlin of Hawkins, Martha Coquat and her husband Howard of Hawkins, Nita Love of Bullard, and Shirley Love of Hawkins and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Marshall Lee Love Sr., and his mother, Leona Belle Robertson.
Marshall will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community. Rest in peace, Marshall. Your legacy of love and faith will never be forgotten.
