Born October 31, 1952
Mart Dowden passed away on September 19, 2025, at Summit Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Dowden, and his sister, Annette.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Mary.
Mart retired from Trustpoint Hospital, where he served as a dedicated registered nurse.
In his free time, Mart enjoyed target shooting, photography, and traveling. He had a deep love for his dogs and found great joy in their companionship.
A visitation to celebrate Mart's life will be held on October 30, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mt. Juliet Animal Shelter at 115 Industrial Drive, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 in his memory.
