Martha Louise Richardson Andrews, 95, died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Tennille, Georgia, daughter of the late Thomas Wesley Richardson Sr. and Mattie Arlene Hodges Richardson. She lived in Savannah most of her life. She was a 1933 graduate of Savannah High and attended Georgia Teacher's College. Mrs. Andrews worked briefly as a stenographer for Lynes Realty and was a member of St. Andrews Independent Episcopal Church where she was a member of the Altar Guild, ECW and taught Sunday school. She was a Pink Lady with both Candler Hospital and Memorial Hospital. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an accomplished quilter, needle worker and seamstress. Her husband, Francis Joseph Andrews preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughter, Sally Andrews Osteen and fiancé, Thad Welch Jr. of Savannah; grandchildren, Lauren Klein (Matt) of Savannah; Amy Long (Gary) of Fleming Island, FL; great grandchildren, Victoria, Madison, Amberley and Jacquelyn Klein of Savannah; Lacie and Emily Long of Fleming Island, FL.
