Martha L. Baldwin, a beloved mother and shining light in the lives of many, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, at the age of 92, surrounded by her cherished family. Born on February 20, 1932, Martha was known for her wonderful spirit and unwavering love, earning her the affectionate title of "tough cookie" among those who knew her well.

Martha was not only a remarkable mother and grandmother but also a gifted cook and an avid bingo player. Many fond memories were created around her delicious homecooked meals, particularly her renowned chicken and dumplings, which will be missed by all who had the pleasure of enjoying them. Even at the local Moose or VFW, her lucky trolls were always by her side, a testament to her playful spirit and belief in winning big—both at bingo and in life.

One could often find Martha swaying to the enchanting melodies of Lawrence Welk or the vibrant sounds of the big band era. She cherished sitting on her porch, watching the world go by, gracefully embracing the simple pleasures that made life beautiful. Her heart was immense; she exuded love and care, nurturing all around her.

Martha is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry Baldwin, and their beloved son, Bruce Baldwin, along with her grandson, Brian Kitchens. Her parents Frank and Elzora Farmer, her siblings Verna, Kenny, Opal ,Harold ,Tommy and Howard. Her sons-in-laws, Michael Kitchens and Andy Keppel, who embraced her with gratitude and respect.

Martha was survived by her wonderful children: Harry (Peggy) Baldwin, Peggy Kitchens, Kim Keppel, and Terri (Terry Napier) Baldwin. Her love extended beyond her immediate family to her beloved grandchildren—Chloe Baldwin, Deanna (David) Ross, Carey Baldwin, and Corey Baldwin—who brought her immense joy, as well as her great-grandchildren, Cody, Bruce, Andrew, Dalton, and Dustin. Martha's legacy continued with her great-great-grandchildren, Griffin, Darrin, and Case, who further enriched her life with love and laughter. She held a special place in her heart for her many wonderful nieces and nephews who will forever remember her kindness.

Her radiant presence and kind-heartedness were a gift to everyone she encountered. As we reflect on Martha's incredible life, we find comfort in her enduring love and the memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. A visitation will be held on January 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Washington Park East, located at 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229.

Martha L. Baldwin stands as a symbol of unconditional love, and though her physical presence will be missed, her spirit will forever guide and inspire her family and loved ones. The echoes of her laughter, her culinary delights, and her loving embrace will always remain alive in our hearts.
