Martha Elizabeth Regina Beers, 93, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, at Elkhart General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family after a period of declining health.

Martha was born on February 19, 1933, in Jefferson Township, Clinton County, Indiana, to the late Frederick and Louise (Chaffee) Eggleston. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lyle H. Beers, siblings; Eva Pressler, Frederick Eggleston Jr., Valma Tucker, Robert Eggleston, Herbert Eggleston, Juanita Sharp, Veida Irons, Jerome Eggleston, and Clayton Eggleston;

On March 2, 1957, she married the love of her life, Lyle H. Beers, at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Elkhart. Together they shared 67 and a half wonderful years of marriage before his passing.

Martha retired from Imperial Fabrics in 1996. A woman of deep and abiding faith, she dedicated her life to serving the Lord, her family, and her community. She was a longtime member of Calvary Assembly of God Church, where she worshiped faithfully since 1976. Over the years, she devoted herself to many areas of ministry, including serving as a faithful soprano in the choir, working with the Missionettes program, participating in the Women's Missionary Club ("WM"), and being an active member of the Chadder Bells Home Club.

From 1972 to 1975, Martha faithfully served alongside her husband during his ministry at First Assembly of God in Walkerton, Indiana, and in Nursing Home Ministries in Elkhart. Her gentle spirit, servant's heart, and unwavering love for God touched countless lives.

Martha is survived by her children: Keith (Becky) Beers, Trudy (Chuck) Conley, Melanie (Dan) Hartzler, and Janet (David) Brownbridge; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. along with a multitude of dear friends and church family who were blessed by her kindness and generosity.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1010 E. Mishawaka Road, Elkhart, Indiana, where she spent many joyful years serving her church family. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow immediately at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the church or to a charity of your choice in Martha's memory.
