Martha Ann Burnette, 67, of Hope, AR passed away June 10, 2011 peacefully from the arms of her loving family to the arms of her LORD. She was born October 9, 1943 in Pilot Point, Texas to the late Johnny and Evelyn McDonald. She is survived by her children, Lisa Young of Wylie, TX; Steve Young of Hot Springs, AR; and Charlie & Carrie Burnette of Hope, AR; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, and close friends. Martha loved the Lord, art, classical music and her beloved cat "Aaron." She loved spending time with her family and friends, and all the special times with her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of life will be 3:00pm Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 1st Assembly of God in Hot Springs. My condolences to the family; I enjoyed Martha's friendship for many years at Medical Park Hospital. She was a lady I enjoyed visiting with on daily basis while there. Her sense of humor and down to earth point of view as well as her vast knowledge made working with her entertaining and enjoyable.
Martha will be missed and I am truly sadden for her family.
