Martha Dell (Boggs) Collins, 88, of Petersburg passed away peacefully, Monday, March 30, 2026, surrounded by her daughters.
Martha was born in Monroe City, Indiana on October 6, 1937, to Samuel and Laura “Toots” (Breidenbaugh) Boggs. She graduated from Petersburg High School in 1955 and married Billy Don Collins on August 15, 1957.
Martha is survived by her husband Bill of 68 years; four daughters; Sherry (Tom) Burnett of Washington; Terri (Jeff) Holmes of Evansville; Lisa (Al Nardine) Collins of Vincennes; and Kathy (Kent) Kixmiller of Winslow. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Mandy (Justin) Mahurin of Wheatland; Ashley (Eliud Colón) Holmes of Evansville; Katlyn (Josh Real) Purl of Vincennes; Samantha Nardine of Chicago, Illinois; and Klayton Kixmiller of Winslow; as well as three great-grandchildren; Ella and Ayla Colón of Evansville and Connor Real of Vincennes. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Sparky.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild, Jade Holmes.
A private graveside service for Martha will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
