Martha A. Dexter

Martha A. Dexter, 76 of Mount Pleasant died on Thursday November 20, 2025 in Independence Health System, Westmoreland Hospital. She was born on May 3, 1949 in Garden City, Michigan a daughter of the late Robert and Alice Shonts Nicholson. Martha was a graduate of Howell High School in Howell Michigan and she attended Culinary School at Westmoreland County Community College. She was a cook and baker and worked for several years for the retired priests of the Diocese of Greensburg at the Christ Our Shepherd Center formerly St. Joseph's. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Gregory Dexter; her children, Kristy Myers and her husband Robert of Pittsburgh and Thomas Gregory Dexter, II of Mount Pleasant; her grandchildren, Giovanna Dexter, Nicholas Myers, Grace Myers, Isabella Dexter and Alexander Myers; brother, Leroy Nicholson and his wife Donna of Coal Center, Pa. and a half brother, Gary Nicholson of Fayette City, Pa.
