Martha Dunlap, beloved wife, mother, and 'Grandma-ma' passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, following a sudden illness.

Martha was the first child born to Jack and Mary Belle Neill at St. Joseph's Hospital in Fort Worth. She lived and attended school in Everman from 1948-1961, graduating as valedictorian. She obtained a Master's Degree in education from North Texas State University and went on to teach in Everman ISD and Fort Worth ISD for over 30 years.

An avid traveler, Martha visited several countries abroad including Peru, France, Italy, England, Germany, Russia, Denmark, and Poland. Her love of antiques often led her to Fredericksburg, Canton, and Jefferson. Inspired by this deep appreciation for antiquities, she started her own business, Martha Dunlap Antiques, at the Mercantile Antique Mall. She also served as president of Fort Worth's Antique Club.

As a lover of the arts, she supported the Kimball Art Museum, Fort Worth Ballet and Opera, Bass Hall, and KERA, and was a 50-year member of the Woman's Club of Fort Worth.

Friends and family will warmly remember her for her sharp wit, infectious laugh, impeccable style, and above all, her kindness and generosity. Her ability to tell colorful stories made life feel like a movie!

Martha is survived by her adoring husband Bob; daughter Jennifer and husband Joseph; son Robert Jr. and wife Juanita; stepsons Houston and Laramie Dunlap; grandchildren Allyson Anderson, Mary Wix, Jack, Adriana, and Marissa Dunlap; 8 great-grandchildren; and by her sister Nora Neill Bender and husband Rick, and sister-in-law Wanda Neill. Her cherished brother Dr. James Neill and parents Jack and Marybelle Neill preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church in Everman on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 1 pm. In place of flowers, donations may be made in her honor, to the Woman's Club of Fort Worth.
