Justin Richard Watson was born on July 7, 1972 in Fort Worth Texas, the third child of the late Richard and Carol Watson. He passed away on October 25, 2025 in North Richland Hills, Texas at the age of 53.
Justin was raised in Hurst Texas and graduated from L.D. Bell High School. Project Manager for Orthofix in Lewisville, Texas. He had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued. His warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew him. Whether lending a helping hand or offering a listening ear, he made a difference in so many lives. He was a cherished husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Justin’s wife, kids and grandson were his pride and joy. He was proud of who they are – smart, funny, strong – all the best parts of him shining through in them. Justin had a way with words quick witted, sharp, and always perfectly timed. He could find the funny side of almost anything. Justin wasn’t just funny, he was thoughtful, loyal to his family. Beneath that quick humor was a big gentle heart.
Justin was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Garren Watson; and father-in-law, Bud Duncan.
He is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Elizabeth “Liz” (Duncan) Watson; two wonderful children, Jared Watson and wife, Katelyn (aka “Goose”); daughter, Kaitlin Watson; one precious grandson Jasper and another grandson due in December; twin brother, Jason Watson; brother, Nelson Watson and wife, Kim; sister, Michelle Jobson, and her husband, Andrew; brother, Bryce Watson and wife Regan; mother-in-Law: Paula Schultz; along with many Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the remarkable man he was. His laughter, his kindness, and his unwavering love will remain with us. As we remember, Justin, let us find comfort in the love we shared and the legacy he leaves behind. May his spirit continue to inspire us each day, and may we cherish the moments we were blessed to spend with him. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
