Martha Erwin was a wonderful woman of beauty, faithfulness and a prayer warrior. The one word I would use to describe her was faithful servant of the Lord! Martha and I became better acquainted when I chaired the Officer Nominating Committee for FPC in 2012. She showed me so much grace and that the key to service was seeking the Lord and being attune to His leading. She was humble, a true servant, encourager and wonderful leader. We at First Presbyterian miss her immensely but know she is celebrating with her Lord and Savior, Jesus and reuniting with many family and friends! Thank you, Martha, for your friendship and service!

So sorry to hear of Martha´s passing. She was such a lovely gal, a class act!! She was a true Kappa lady and contributed so much to the beginning efforts of The national Kappa Foundation through her leadership! She will be missed!!

I am overcome with sadness at the loss of such a wonderful lady, mother, Kappa sister and friend to so many. I'd already picked out a BDay card for her in Aug. I know she is being welcomed in Heaven with hugs & kisses from friends, and that a new porch sitting group is gathering to sing songs and share memories. Martha was a love.

Dear Erwin Family,
We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of your beloved Martha Erwin. Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.
Martha's remarkable life of 94 years undoubtedly left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm presence, kind heart, and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by friends, family, and the entire community.
We were fortunate to have known Martha (and Jim) through their friendship with Tom and Kathy Moore. We last visited her in her home for lunch on Oct 15, 2022... and were again impressed with her wisdom, wit, and unwavering spirit. We will forever remember her as a beacon of light, radiating joy and warmth wherever she went.
In this time of mourning, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We hope you find comfort and strength in the support of your loved ones and the memories you shared with Martha.
