Martha Fitzmaurice, age 88, of Yates Center, Kansas, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, at Oswego Health and Rehab, Oswego, Kansas.
Martha Wilson was born on March 28, 1937, to Harvey and Elsie (Bing) Wilson in Douglas, Kansas. She attended grade school in Bell Plain and went on to graduate from Coyville High School. In her later years, she devoted herself to the art of crafting-especially working with natural dyes, spinning wool, and weaving, pursuits that brought her great enjoyment.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Stanely Wilson; husband, Don Fitzmaurice.
She is survived by her sons, Richard and wife Annette of Fredonia, Kansas and Arnold Thomas of Yates Center, Kansas.
