Martha Grantham Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hernando Funeral Home on May 17, 2025.
Martha Ann Grantham, 74, a resident of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 6th of 1950 to her late parents, James and Dorothy Sexton.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Hernando Funeral Home from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., with a service to celebrate her life immediately following at 3:00 p.m.
Martha was a devoted homemaker who served her family with love and dedication. She had a deep passion for music-an accomplished pianist who found joy in singing with her church choir. Martha also had a flair for the spirited things in life, including fast cars and her signature red lipstick, which reflected her vibrant personality.
Above all, she was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love left a lasting impression on everyone she knew. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Martha is survived by her children, Marcie Greenwood (Michael), Samantha Upshaw (Joe), and Ronnie Grantham Jr.; her nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one sister, Debra Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Grantham; her parents; brothers, James "Bud" Sexton and David Sexton; and grandchild, Lashaun Swaim.
