Martha L. Jones age 86, formerly from Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord October 25th, 2025.
She was born May 12th 1939 in Patricksburg, IN to the late Harley and Clemma Christine (Huber) Ewbank.
Martha married Ronald Jones September 19th 1959 and he survives.
Martha's faith was central to her life, and she was a long-time member of Cloverdale United Methodist Church. She and Ron went on many mission trips and served in every church they attended. Martha loved her family and always looked for ways to gather immediate and extended family. She was a stay-at-home mom to care for her children. Martha's green thumb was known throughout the community when sharing the extra from her garden. She was an avid genealogist and kept it for the family. Martha loved to go camping and the family vacationed throughout much of the US. Ron and Martha were Traveling Turtle camp club members for many years. She also enjoyed taking the grandkids on trips while they were young.
In addition to her husband she is also survived by her children Byron (Mary) Jones. Brenda (Dan) Beams. Bonita (Robert) Stacy, Brice (Trish) Jones. Belinda Jones (boyfriend Brian): grandchildren Mariya (Chris) Rosebrock, Alyssa Jones, Sarah (Ross) Hanson, Ben Beams.
Mitchell Stacy. Rudy (Kyra) Jones, Lucas Clay, Jacob (Zoe) Clay: great-grandchildren Arlen Rosebrock, Zayda Rosebrock, Delsin Jones. Also sisters Margie Evans, Priscilla Gaff. Leota Jones. Preceded in death by siblings Josephine Townsend and Ernie Ewbank and in-laws Raleigh and Esther Jones.
Funeral services for Martha will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday November 1st, 2025 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cloverdale United Methodist Church or the Dementia Society of America at https://share.google/YdseaRzCGpftrACji Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfunerals.net.
