Martha Kirby Obituary

Martha was born in Marion, Virginia, to Mack and Viola Coalson. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 40 years, Mike Kirby. After both retired from the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Martha and Mike enjoyed many rounds of golf together.
Martha is survived by several sisters, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces, and close friends.
There will be no services, in accordance with Martha's wishes.

Enjoyed working together in News Journal Accounting department with Martha. Loved our days of bowling together with Martha & Mike on the News-Journal team. Both such a special couple. Good memories.

Mike and Martha were a rare breed of great couples. I know they both always had a smile or friendly attitude for all. Can't ever recall either one of them angry about anything. Will be missed, but will meet again in Paradise.
