Martha Valicek Macha

Martha Valicek Macha, 99, of Rosenberg, passed away on October 31, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Martha was born on September 4, 1926, in Saint John, Texas to Willie Valicek and Francis Zacek.
Martha was a long-time member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the president of K.J.Z.T. for many years, Catholic Daughters, American Legion auxiliary and the Young at Heart. She also worked for L.C.I.S.D. in transportation as a Bus Driver for many years.
Martha is survived by her four sons, Raymond Jr. (Deborah), Mark (wife Scherri), Michael (wife Sandra), and Donnie; two daughters, Jeanette Gulbrandsen (husband Jim) and Judy Macha Newmann (husband Albert); grandchildren Gregory Macha, Alan Macha, Jodi Clayton, and David Macha; great grandchildren, Brittany and Tyler Macha, Abbie and Carli Clayton; step- grandchildren, Karen, Samia, and Luana Baseio.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Valicek and Francis Zacek and her husband Raymond James Macha Sr.,
Those honored to serve as casket bearers are Gregory Macha, Alan Macha, David Macha, Patrick Zapalac, Edwin Valicek, and Kenny Kocich.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025, with the rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church followed by interment at West Gethsemane Cemetery in Rosenberg.
