Martha Louise McDonald, age 83 of Leonardville, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan.
She was born on September 29, 1940, the daughter of Willis Henry and Laura Iva (Styer) Beals.
On August 7, 1957, at Storm Lake, Iowa, she married Clyde Eldon McDonald. He preceded her in death in 2018.
She and Clyde owned and operated McDonald Auto Sales and Salvage for 60 years. During her younger years, she was a waitress at different restaurants in Leonardville, Riley and Randolph. Martha was an avid bingo player and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Elton McDonald and wife Vicki of Wakefield, and Tony McDonald and wife Debbie of Riley; two daughters, Jeanne Richter and husband Mark of Leonardville, and Marlene McDonald of Leonardville; one daughter-in-law, Tracy McDonald of Randolph; five grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bryce McDonald; two brothers, James Beals and Ray Beals, and one great granddaughter, Madie Mall.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Diller officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Grandview-Mill Creek Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Martha McDonald Memorial Fund and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
