Martha Janice Clark Moore, 93, of 148 Broadleigh Ct., Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025, at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.
Janice was born in Lincolnton, NC on March 4, 1932, a daughter of the late Bertha Mae (Teague) Clark and Greenlee William Clark. She was the widow of Charles Edward Moore.
Mrs. Moore graduated from the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Charlotte, NC. She worked for her husband helping him develop his sign business into one of the most successful sign companies in Western North Carolina. At the age of 50 she went back and renewed her nursing certificate was employed at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC for 15 years.
She was a member of Inman First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Anna Caring Sunday School Class.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine McGinnis, of Boiling Springs, SC, two grandchildren, Patrick McGinnis and Stacey Fain, four great grandchildren, Ansley McGinnis, Jameson McGinnis, Stryder Fain and Charleigh Fain.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 12th at Inman First Baptist Church Atrium.
Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM on Sunday in the church sanctuary, with Dr. Paul Moore officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hickory, NC on Wednesday, October 15th at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
