Yesterday
I met Sue 50 years ago when Bob and I married. Bob was working for her husband, Albert, at LW Postlewait and Sons. Sue became a dear friend. She was so cheerful and spread joy to all. She was devoted to her family, her friends and her students. Bob and I were lucky to have her in our lives, and to have been able to visit with her in Black Mountain a month before her passing.
This past year a tragic flood hit the Asheville area and Black Mountain where she lived. She was heartbroken that a storage building was carried away with her cherished family quilts and vast collection of children´s books. During our visit, she was thrilled to show us her family photos and share stories with a big smile! She will be missed.
