Yesterday
I met Sue 50 years ago when Bob and I married. Bob was working for her husband, Albert, at LW Postlewait and Sons. Sue became a dear friend. She was so cheerful and spread joy to all. She was devoted to her family, her friends and her students. Bob and I were lucky to have her in our lives, and to have been able to visit with her in Black Mountain a month before her passing.
This past year a tragic flood hit the Asheville area and Black Mountain where she lived. She was heartbroken that a storage building was carried away with her cherished family quilts and vast collection of children“s books. During our visit, she was thrilled to show us her family photos and share stories with a big smile! She will be missed.
