Mrs. Martha Lynn Smith Price, age 36, of the Caney Spring Community in Marshall County, TN died on April 20, 2025 in Lewisburg, TN. Martha was born in Franklin, TN and a daughter of the late Jim Smith and the late Belanda Long Smith Johnson. She was a homemaker and attended Centennial High School in Franklin, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Frankie Johnson, a sister, Lynnette Richards, and her father-in-law, Danny Price.
Martha was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She was sweet and supportive and never let people go without knowing they were loved. She always knew the right things to say and loved with her entire heart. Martha was and will always be one of the strongest people, wild, and fun loving. She was always there for anyone who needed advice or a listening ear. She never failed to spread love and laughter to everyone she met. She was a role model to her kids and everyone around her. Martha will always and forever live on in the lives of all the people’s hearts that she touched. She was a part of the Cherokee Indian Tribe and Nation. Her favorite color was green and she loved watching movies and being with her family and friends. She loved to draw, write, talk, and joke with friends.
Mrs. Price is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Daniel Price of the Caney Spring Community; children, Ava Lynn Price, Maya Elyse Price, and Denver James Price, all of the Caney Spring Community; nieces, Kensi Richards, Paizley Matlock, Savannah Matlock; nephews, Dylan Richards, Lucas Dean Wayman, Levi Jude Wayman.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 4 PM – 6 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 6 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Long officiating.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Mental Health Court Program in Lewisburg, TN.
