Savontà Raymon Johnson-Chipa, age 30 of Nashville, TN passed away October 8, 2024. He was a 2012 graduate of Centennial High School. In 2018 he received his Bachelor’s degree from MTSU where he also minored in Math. He also received his certification in Cyber Security. Savontà was an avid soccer fan, and enjoyed watching the Nashville Soccer Club. He was a level three brown belt in Judo and Jiujitsu, and was working on obtaining his black belt. He was an amazing dad, and his baby boy was his best friend. Savontà is preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Ray Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Regina Johnson-Chipa of Nashville, TN; son, Rayden Franklin Johnson-Chipa of Nashville, TN; parents, Sandro & Antreasa Johnson-Chipa of Nashville, TN; grandparents, Bessie Johnson of Franklin, TN and Teofilo & Bernardine Chipa of North Carolina; sister, Aleena Chipa of Nashville, TN; uncle, Arthur Scott of Franklin, TN; father & mother in-law, Frankie & Laura Baker of Franklin, GA; sisters in-law, Aleta (Matt) Stover of Franklin, GA and Caitlin Baker of Franklin, GA; nieces & nephews, Rayan Chipa McCree, Elena & Maddy Stover and Mikkel & Elijah Baker and many other loving family members. Funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 12, 2024. Burial will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
