Martha "Marty" Tesner

Martha “Marty” Tesner passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Born on September 9, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of Sidney and Martha (Dawson) Klager. Marty was a 1961 graduate of Chaney High School. She was a Dental Assistant for Soller and Soller before retiring to stay at home with her two children. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, where she formed lifelong friendships. Marty was a baker and was best known for her chocolate chip cookies, she helped her husband run their family-owned tree farm, and loved her time at her favorite spot, Camp Luther. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, John A. Klager and Elaine Cleeland. She leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories with her husband, Vincent Tesner, whom she married on July 27, 1967. She will be fondly remembered by her children, Todd (Holly) Tesner and Elizabeth (Darren) Miller and her adoring grandchildren Hailey Tenser, Caleb Tesner, Trinity Miller, and Christian Miller as well as her many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on April 27, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 930 N. 12th St., Sebring, Ohio 44672. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the church. Marty’s warmth and kindness touched all who knew her, and her memory will forever be a guiding light to her family and friends. Until we meet again.
