LEICESTER – Douglas Dale Tesner, Age 67, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026.
Douglas was born on November 14, 1958, in Oakland County, Michigan. He was a resident of Buncombe County all of his life.
He retired from Harry’s on the Hill after 34 years of service. Doug enjoyed fishing, his cats, Sammy and Simon and working on cars.
He was the son of the late Ellis J. and Juanita Buckner Tesner. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edmond, Richard and Dennis “Denny” Tesner.
Surviving are his daughter, Faith Tenser; sons, Tyler Tesner and Shad Tesner; brother, Bruce Tesner (Melissa Russell); three grandchildren, Adrian Tesner, Gracelyn Matheson and Tatum Day.
Graveside services and inurnment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at West Memorial Park, 40 Roberts Street, Weaverville with Reverend Rev. Greg Hollifield officiating.
