Martha Jean Young

RICHMOND, IN- Martha Jean Young, age 72, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Reid Health surrounded by family. Born January 4, 1953, to Harvey and Maggie White, Martha lived most of her life in this community. She graduated from Bisbee Arizona High School and married her husband, Stephen J. Young, on October 21, 1972. Martha enjoyed crafting, her Yorkie, Bentley, and spending time with family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Survivors include her husband; daughters, Michelle Taresh and Stephanie (Nick) Guenther; grandchildren, Justin (Heather) Enright, Matthew (Katie) Taresh, Brayden Collins, Morgan (Michael Brewer) Guenther, and Lorelei Gunther; brothers, Dennis (Ruth Plenty) White, and William (Charlotte) Butch White; sister, Sue White; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Stephen Enright. There will be no public calling. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
