Mr. Martin Allen Grant McMeans, age 43 of Sylacauga, AL passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Martin wasn’t afraid of hard work where he was an accomplished Carpenter and Landscaper. He enjoyed capturing every moment through photography, and never stopped learning about history and animals through tv documentaries, and exploring in nature. His family was the light of his life, and since living in Alabama loved traveling to the beach. He is preceded in death by Grandparents, Allen McMeans, Deenie Reiger, and Patricia Spivey.
He is survived by his Wife, Angela (Tyler) McMeans; Children, David, Allen, Adrian, Martin II, Abigail, and Samantha; Father, Martin P. McMeans; Mother and Stepfather, Karen Spivey and Jeff Bennett; Brothers, Jered McMeans (Lena) and Edward Lafnear (Kim); and several other extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ken Swiger officiating. Interment will follow at Powell Valley Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Martin Allen Grant McMeans.
