Alan Gaines Obituary
Alan Lee Gaines, age 62 of LaFollette passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Alan was a former employee of Food City. He loved to fish, play cards, and visit with friends and family. Alan especially loved his Aunt Martha’s pineapple upside down cake. Preceded in death by Parents, William Lee Gaines and Ona Mae (Norris) Gaines, and Uncle, Thomas Red Norris.
Survived by Sister, Donna Lou Thomas (Dennis); Nephews, Casey Muse, Christian Thomas, and Gabriel Thomas; Niece, Reese Thomas; Aunt, Martha Norris; Cousins, Rhonda Norris, Rick Norris, Jim Norris, Lisa Heatherly, and Becky Norris; Special Friends, Keith Cordell and Jackie Ellison. Several other Cousins, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Services to follow at 7:00 P.M. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, October 1, 2025, 10:00 A.M. at Powell Valley Cemetery for Graveside Services. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Alan Lee Gaines.
