Martin Cridge Sr., born November 5, 1960, in Shipley, England, passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2026, at the age of 65. At a young age, Martin immigrated to the United States with his parents, where he would grow to become a beloved figure among family and friends.

A skilled tradesman, Martin dedicated many years as a plumber with Ransone and Sons. His talents also extended beyond his professional work, as he was known to lend his skills as a handyman to those in need. Martin found great joy in the simplicity and tranquility of nature. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, often spending hours immersed in the peace that the natural world offered him.

Martin is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Peter Cridge. He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: his mother, Traudl Shelton; children, Angela Campbell, Amy Hoffman and her husband Jeremy, Jamie Shelley and her husband Brandon, and Martin Cridge Jr.; and eight cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Mark Cridge and his wife Shellie, and Michael Cridge, as well as his sister, Valerie West and her husband Fred.

Services will be held privately by the family, honoring Martin's wishes for an intimate farewell. Now a "free bird," Martin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
