Martin Jasurda Obituary

Martin H. Jasurda
Born: May 29, 1950 in Joliet, IL
Died: August 30, 2025 in Port St. Lucie, FL
Martin Harold Jasurda, 75, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away peacefully on August 30.
Marty was born and raised in Joliet, IL and attended Joliet West High School.
He was son of the late Martin J. and Beverly Jasurda and brother of recently deceased, Michael Jasurda. He leaves behind his beloved partner, Sherry Dohner, of Port St. Lucie, FL. Martin is survived by his sons, Nicholas Jasurda (Sally Gentile), Joseph (Bobbi) Jasurda, grandchildren Collin and Riley Jasurda, all of Menominee, MI, stepson William Partin, of Orland Park, IL, daughter Nikki (Jasurda) Baird, and granddaughter Chloe Baird, of Anaheim, CA. Also surviving are his sister Joyce Jasurda, of Denver, CO, and Aunt JoAnn (Ruffing) Bowers, of Bloomington, IL. He will be greatly missed also by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. All can agree that Marty had a big heart and great laugh. He was a Superfan of all Chicago sports teams, most especially, a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, loved rock and roll history, and reading Stephen King novels. He bore his physical restrictions due to Muscular Dystrophy with great patience and determination. Donations to The Muscular Dystrophy Association are greatly appreciated.
