Martin Joseph Jurkowski (MJ). The World Wrestling Entertainment Franchise has lost one of its greatest fans! Martin left us on September 5, 2025. Martin was predeceased by his parents, Chester and Alice Jurkowski formerly of East Longmeadow, MA. He is survived by his brothers: Alan (Lou) Jurkowski of Raleigh, NC, and Paul (Joyce) Jurkowski of Norfolk, VA; his niece Anne (Nicholas) Johnson, grand niece June and grand nephew Clark of Carrboro, NC. Martin lived a life filled with many challenges, but, also filled with an abundance of joy. Martin loved music (especially Country), the NY Yankees and Mets (to the dismay of all his Massachusetts relatives) and the WWE. Martin's sarcasm, wit and singing kept us laughing and smiling through his final days. Martin's family wishes to thank the MA Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Baystate Hospice Care, and the Mental Health Association (MHA) for the outstanding care and support they provided Martin. Martin (MJ) was happy when succeeding on his own, but, happiest when the caregivers of MHA were there supporting him. In Martin's memory, donations may be made to Mental Health Association, 350 Memorial Drive, Chicopee, MA 01020. There will be a private family interment.

I got to know Martin when our families moved to New Jersey. We would often get together for cookouts and he would amaze me that he could remember everyone's license plates numbers. Rest in peace. Gail

What we remember about Martin is he enjoyed watching football... not because he liked the football game... he liked to see the cheerleaders

Martin, the only one of my brother-in-laws whom which I never had a disagreement ...oh, there was the Red Sox/ Yankee thing, but that was "just sports". (Don´t tell Martin "just sports"). Most of the time we laughed at life and agreed on much of what was going on in the world. Martin was so insightful. He got it. I am so lucky to have had Martin in my life. As we sang on one of our last visits "you got to know when to hold them, know when to fold them...." God bless you Martin.
