It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Martin Andrew Kabbage, age 74. Marty joined his father, Steve Sr., mother, Anna, and brother, Steve Jr., beside our Lord on Sunday, April 20th, 2025.
A lifelong resident of Homerville, Marty graduated from Black River High School and began his mechanical career working with his father and brother in the family trucking business as well as running multi-state farms. Always a worker, even after retiring from Medina Supply as supervisor of the mechanical garage, Marty continued working in the trucking industry and farming at the Trout Trucking Company and Farm.
In his spare time, Marty loved collecting various collectibles, spending time cutting wood, attending auctions, completing projects or socializing in his workshop, making numerous family memories and enjoying his nightly bowl of ice cream. He will be deeply missed by his son, Eddie (Krissi) Kabbage, daughters, Sherrie Schneider, Kelly (Josh) White; grandchildren, Ruby, Tate, Grayden, Camdyn, Emersyn, Adrienn, Katelyn, and Logan; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Charlotte; along with extended family and friends.
A private memorial is planned with a celebration of life to be announced at a future date (Summer, 2025). Any contributions in his honor can be made to Arbor Day foundation, www.Arborday.org or the Ohio State 4-H extension office in Medina, Ohio.
Online condolences may be shared at www.parkerfuneralhomes.com.
Celebration of Life details will be available soon.
