Lawrence "Larry" Huskins, 75 of Chippewa Lake, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Orrville Skilled Nursing, following a lengthy illness. Larry was born December 20, 1949 in Rockville Centre on Long Island, New York to the late Louis and Florence (Nies) Huskins.

He grew up on Long Island where he graduated from Hempstead High School, and later obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History from Ohio Northern University. Larry married Ruth Foster on May 25, 1974, and they resided in Lakewood, Ohio before moving to Chippewa Lake in 1991.

Larry is survived by his wife, Ruth Huskins of Chippewa Lake; son, Louis (Jess) Huskins of Westlake and daughter, Victoria (Bernie) Lyon of Seville;

Siblings, Louis and Gail Huskins live in Santa Clarita, CA and Placid Lake, Mt. We have three children: 1. Michael Louis Huskins (wife Priya) live in Foster City, CA, children John and Matthew. 2 Daniel Brian Huskins live in Santa Clarita, CA, child Aidan. 3. Heather Huskins Doran (husband James) live in Lafayette, Colorado, children Jackson, Austin, and Harley.

Dennis Huskins and his wife Judy of Flanders NJ. Daughters: Sage Baron and Husband Andrew of Fairfield, CT. Their children Cosette, Lenox, and Gemma. Chelsea Huskins of Norwalk, CT. Chantal Huskins of Bridgeport, CT.

Ken Huskins and wife Ruth Lane, residing in Shorewood, MN

Children: Rebecca (Becky) Huskins, residing in Blackwood, NJ; Emily Retzlaff (nee Huskins) and husband Michael (Mike), residing in Baltimore, MD; Alicia Lane residing in St. Paul, MN. Grandchild:(Ken and Ruth's granddaughter) Amelia Lane-Outlaw, residing in St. Paul, MN; Patrick Lane, residing in Atlanta, GA

Larry was a Project Coordinator for RESS Realty and University Hospital. He also operated Huskins Water Hauling before retiring in 2012. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and trended the Wooster Congregation. He enjoyed talking to people about the Bible and the promises Jehovah God has for us!

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3233 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691. Speaker Larry Jarka will preside.
