Sherry Huskins

1961 - 2025

Sherry Mansbridge Huskins, 63, of Marble, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at her residence.
A native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Sherry had been living in Cherokee County since 1976.
Sherry was a dedicated employee of Ingles Markets for more than 20 years, working primarily in Blue Ridge and Hiawassee, Ga. She had also worked for Big D for many years prior to working at Ingles.
Sherry attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
She really enjoyed riding her Polaris RZR at Windrock in Tennessee; however, Sherry loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was the daughter of Ann Mansbridge of Marble and the late Robert Mansbridge.
She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Skip Huskins.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a daughter, Candice Huskins of Marble; a son, Travis Huskins of Marble; a sister, Lori Rowland and husband, Jeff of Marble; a brother, Bobby Mansbridge of Canton, Ga.; six grandchildren, Chloe Blaylock, Crue Blaylock, Kailee Carter, Kash Carter, Isabella Huskins, and a special grandson whom she raised, Matthew Huskins; four nephews, quadruplets Jordan, Cody, Brandon and Tyler; and two nieces, Brittany and Ashlyn.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Marble Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Toby Roehm and Father Mike Donovan of Saint William Catholic Church officiating.
The interment was in Moss Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jordan, Cody, Tyler and Brandon Mansbridge, Jeff Rowland and Steve Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were Matthew and Travis Huskins, and Kacey Carter.
The family received friends from 2-2:50 p.m. Sunday at Marble Springs Baptist Church prior to the services.
Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, was in charge of all arrangements.
