Martin Long Obituary
He graduated from the University of Wyoming and proudly served his country as a Naval Aviator for Patrol Squadron 24. His commitment to his country was unwavering and he achieved the rank of Commander before being honorably discharged after 20 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Jane Long, and his son, Scott Long. He is survived by his remaining two children, Martha Long, and John (Tracy) Long and his beloved grandson, AJ.
Martin was one of the original founders of the Colorado Children's Chorale. In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to send donations to the Colorado Children's Chorale – Tuition Assistance Program in Martin's memory. (childrenschorale.org)
A memorial and burial ceremony will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a future date (TBD). No funeral services will be held.
