Martin went home to the Lord on September 29, 2025. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Sally Lynch. He is survived by his children, Michael (Casey), Martin Jr. (Natalia), John (Kristin) Lynch, and Claire (James) Edmiston; grandchildren, Rachel, Sean and David, Daria, Sophia, Martin, Philip and Victor, Katie (Ben), John (Haley), Isa (Emmett), Sarah, William, Daniel, Nicholas, Anna, Aaron, Nathaniel, and Thomas, Emily (Kelsey) and Elizabeth; and one great-granddaughter, Kennedy; and sister, Virginia (John) Hurley

A graduate of Saint Peter's College, Martin was a licensed school psychologist for the Rochester City School District and a long-time consulting psychologist for the Mary Cariola Childrens' Center. Martin led a life of love, song, and deep faith as a Secular Franciscan. A devoted husband, loving father and charming prince of a man, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him

Friends and family are invited to call between 4-7pm on October 1, 2025, at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc 3325 Winton Rd South. The Mass will take place at 10am on October 3, 2025, at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 1355 Hatch Rd, Webster. Private Family Interment at Ascension Garden Cemetery.
