i tutored Marty; one of the nicest kids and for whom i always had special love. May he rest in the Lord.

I am sorry to hear of Marty's passing. I'm sure I haven't seen him in 30 years, but I remember him well. I remember the day I met him -- a memorial guy from whom I learned.

To Barb- I don't know if you'll remember me from your days at Greater Media but I saw the notice and had to let you know how very sorry I am for your loss. I pray God's angels will lovingly and gently guide you and your sons through your grief and give you peace. My heartfelt condolences extend to the entire family.

I don't think you could play (football) with, and especially against, Marty without him leaving a big impression. He made a big impression on me. He had a great smile and was generous with it. Though I've not seen Marty in about 25 years, it felt as if the world was a bit darker, a little less colorful, when I learned he had passed. St. Martin de Porres, pray for us.
